Z-inn is a hotel in Ioannina, located by the lake, offering exceptional services that make guests’ stays unforgettable. It also features a cafe-bistro, open from early morning until late at night, making it the city’s top spot for moments of relaxation, entertainment, and socializing.

We designed the entire corporate identity for the hotel and cafe-bistro, which included the logo, business cards, brochures, menus, letterheads, and signage icons. Additionally, we created a hand-drawn map with a distinctive style and technique, showcasing the main points of interest in Ioannina in relation to the hotel.

Logo

We undertook the design and development of the new digital identity of Z Inn, an accommodation that aims to express the perfect balance between modern and traditional.

At the core of the new logo is the letter “Z”, designed with a monoline approach, exuding simplicity and elegance. The letter is enclosed within a square frame formed by its decorative serifs, conveying a sense of stability and familiarity.

This design choice symbolizes Z Inn’s commitment to providing a warm and welcoming experience, where modern comforts are harmoniously combined with the timeless values of hospitality. The result is a logo that embodies the character of the building: straight lines and curves in perfect balance, inviting guests to experience the ideal combination of comfort and charm.

Through contemporary design standards and a visual identity strategy, Wapp delivered not just a symbol, but a complete brand experience reflecting the style of Z Inn.

Typography

For the design of the logo and the entire corporate identity, we chose a serif typeface that combines classic aesthetics with a modern design approach. Its bold, clean lines convey confidence and stability, while the elegant curves of the characters add a sense of sophistication and hospitality.

This balance between the dynamic and the refined perfectly aligns with Z Inn's identity, expressing its vision to offer an experience that unites the modern with the traditional.

Signage & Map

The design of the signage follows the aesthetic of the new identity, with clean graphics and a subtle color palette. Directional signs, informational panels, and exterior signage were developed to harmonize with the building’s architecture, providing both practicality and visual continuity in the space.

We also designed a handmade map with a distinctive style and artistic technique, highlighting the main points of interest in the city of Ioannina in direct relation to the hotel’s location. Its design combines aesthetics and functionality, offering visitors a unique visual experience that strengthens Z Inn’s connection to the place and the local culture.
